The Sea Elf

Originally, this elf was supposed to have been seated on a rock alongside the shore, but I liked the underwater version better.

The Dauthus

These frightening creatures appeared in the Katie Marks project. They were dangerous beings, said to roam the earth as cursed beings. legend stated that these three creatures were all brothers, spawned from the carcass of an evil creature.

The Witch

This peice, though at the time I was unaware, inspired soooooo many things. Originally, it was just a thickly penned halloween design I did in my Government class. (BTW, that class was awwwwful; I'm surprised I didn't have athousand peices come out of there.) Anyways, after i colored it in photoshop, I began thinking of how much I love red hair on a girl. From that, came my newest book, Mystic. The main character is a witch with striking red hair that loves to read.

Nick at Night

Okay, okay, I know the pun-of-a-name is really corny, but that is really what this peice is. It depicts a character from my newest book, Nick, during the night-time, when he is most powerful.

The Orb Lady

You know, I've never understood how or why I made this peice. Seriously, there was no reason why I drew her. No particular reason why she's green (other than the fact that I like the color green). Nothing. She just sort of appeared.

The Tree Nymph

In my second block class I serve as an english teacher aid. Therefore, I'm bound to get bored and start drawing. The Tree Nymph was inspired when the teacher was explaining greek myhtology, preceding Homer's Oddyssey.

The Siren

Another peice inspired by my second block class.

Elven Armor

Originally, this started out simply as a body study, however I started adding a few details and suddenly, this came right out of the bottom of my pencil! A few fixin's in photoshop gave it a green color, creating elven armor.

The Angel

The Angel is my first, and probably not last, tatoo commission peice. A friend from work wanted a tatoo commemorating her mother who had died of breast cancer, thus the pink banner. When she had the tatoo done, the tatooist made a few variations but the concept remained the same.

The Wizard

I did this peice for my school's first art exibit. About a year after I had penciled it onto paper, I decided to run it through photoshop. Doing so, I added the Tolkien language in the background and changed it to look like a peice of parchment.

The Map

What is this a map of, exactly? I don't know. To tell the truth, I just got bored and decided to try my hand at cartography. ;)

Flying Fairy

A peice done for elfwood.com, the flying fairy was an instant hit. It was one of my first experiences with photoshop, so I'm really proud of it.

The Fairy Palace

This is a photography peice. I took pictures in my yard, combined them in photoshop, and created this materpeice.

Draco Occidentalis Major

This is the best dragon pic I've ever done. Thanks to photoshop, I was able to add the awesome yellow to the background!

Theia

This character was a real thrill to write and draw. Her conflicting personalities caused her to be a real challenge to write. Yes, she was borderline of insanity, wich was also a lot of fun. ;)

Dancing Elves

These two are deeply in love. What way better to express their love than a moonlit dance, eh?

Varanna

This is Steph's favorite. It is supposed to be the spirit of a lady rising from a lake.

Aves

An image also created for "Prodject Katie Marks".He was inteded to look ferocious, but rather looks majestic. His origination came from a Finlay Cowan book.

The Archer

This was a peice done for a book that I was writing. It depicted an archer in a battalion of western elves. Originally named Katie Marks, The book was discontinued when I decided to change writing styles.
